Croissants (Flaky and full of butter)

A while back, I took this online zoom class by Camille Le Caer to learn about croissants and Pain au Chocolat (dubbed chocolate croissants). I already shared about the chocolate croissants, so I felt it was time to share about the original ones.

I loved taking Chef Camille’s class! It just made me want to learn more from him and take more classes. The croissants did not turn out perfect, but I think I did really well for it being my first time. I think the biggest mistake that I made was not letting the dough rest long enough in between the folds. I felt the butter getting really soft in my hands. I think next time it would be better to take longer rest times in between the folds to keep the butter at a colder temperature.

Enough said, now it is time to look at some croissants...

Taste: 9/10(I can do better!)

Notes for next time: The dough needs plenty of time to rest, so these need to be made over a few day period.
