Reel: Potato Wedges

I have just been obsessed with potato wedges! The recipe that I put together is super vague, but the idea is that you microwave the wedges first and then fry them in a pan so that they get crispy. I do not measure my seasonings when I make wedges, so use your own discretion. You can also feel free to change the spices. I like using onion powder, dried oregano, cumin, or even chili powder.

Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

  • Russet potatoes cut into wedge shapes (in half the long way, and then in quarters)

  • Oil

  • Spices: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Place wedges into a bowl and drizzle with oil. Add spices and mix together.

  2. Microwave potatoes for about 5-10 minutes until they begin to be tender (depends on how many you are making).

  3. Once they are done in the microwave, heat oil in a non-stick skillet and dump in potatoes. Move the potatoes so that they are in an even layer. Let cook for a few minutes then flip.

  4. Once crispy, remove from the pan and serve with your favorite sauces.
