Reel: Green Smoothie

Green Smoothie Rule For 2 Servings:

  1. 2 cups liquid

  2. 2 cups greens

  3. 3 cups fruit (mix of fresh and frozen)

  4. Pinch of salt

  5. Optional: Hemp seed hearts, dates, maple syrup, matcha, etc.


I have come to love green smoothies! I know that sounds weird, especially if you have never had a green smoothie. You are just going to need to trust me and make one for yourself. The rule I stated above is a guideline that I like to use. This guideline is great because it shows how much of what category that you need and gives you room to be creative. Today, I made a smoothie with almond milk, water, spinach, frozen pineapple, frozen kiwis, a banana, pinch of salt, and hemp seed hearts. My smoothie typically depends on what I have in my fridge or freezer at the time. I encourage you to give a green smoothie a try and let me know what you think!
