Vegan Cranberry Orange Scones (Yum!)
I love scones! Since Christmas is approaching, I thought it would be fun to make cranberry orange scones. I decided to make a cranberry scone with an orange glaze. I know cranberries can be sour, so I wanted to have a way to offset that with some delicious sweetness!
These scones were easy to make. I based the recipe off of the scones that I found in the Vegan for Everybody cookbook. I changed a few ingredients to accommodate the flavors that I wanted to use. I used flour, baking powder, salt, coconut oil, cranberries, and canned coconut milk. For the glaze, I used orange zest, orange juice, and powdered sugar. I loved how they turned out!
I have really been enjoying making scones and trying out different flavors. There are so many flavors to try! I have always wanted to experience using lavender or early gray tea. If you have ever tried either of them, let me know what you think!
Taste: 10/10!
Level of difficulty: 1/5
Notes for next time: I loved this combination!
