Vegan “Chicken” Bites
One night, Jacob said that he was in the mood for some really good fried chicken. I also had cauliflower in the fridge that I needed to use. It just seemed like common sense to me to take the cauliflower in the fridge and turn it into fried “chicken.” I found this recipe and I will include the link for it at the bottom of the page.
This spicy fried chicken was so amazing! It can easily replace fried chicken! I made a “buttermilk” marinade and a flour mixture to dredge the cauliflower in. Once they were coated, I fried them in a pan with about 1.5’’ oil in it. I took them out of the oil and put them onto a paper towel lined plate. I sprinkled them with salt and served them with vegan ranch dressing and some barbeque sauce.
If you are looking for a fried chicken replacement or just looking for fun ways to use cauliflower, I highly recommend this recipe! The breading was just amazing. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly! I think this recipe is really well written!
