Maple-Glazed Pecan Scones (Recipe #107)

The maple-glazed pecan scones were the third scone recipe in the Vegan for Everybody cookbook. I am so glad that I saved this one for last. The maple-glazed pecan scones were the best scones out of three--the other two being the lemon-glazed ginger scones and the currant scones.

Just like the other scones, these ones were very easy to put together. Compared to the original recipe, there were only a few changes. Instead of currants, I used chopped pecans. I also made a glaze of powdered sugar, maple syrup, and water. I love maple syrup, so I was very excited to try this glaze. It was so good! I really loved this recipe and I would love to make it again. I really love the base of this recipe for the scones. I am looking forward to trying other combinations. I was thinking about trying a blueberry version or maybe even a raspberry version. I think it would be fun to play with different fruits or nuts in the recipe!

Taste: 10/10!

Level of difficulty: 1/5

Notes for next time: These were my favorite!
