Apple Tart

I made my first apple tart a couple weeks ago and it turned out so well that I was inspired to make a new one! I followed the same recipe for the crust and the same methodology for the filling. I made a puree layer and a layer with apples. I was in the process of making pop tarts with apple filling when I ran out of dough and had a lot of extra filling. I decided to use that filling to make my apple tart. I was quite impressed with how it turned out given that I did not follow a recipe, so I do apologize for not having a recipe here! I grew up in a house where my mom just knew things, so she would almost never follow a recipe and never write any of her original recipes down. I complain about this all the time and I have turned into her! I am going to have to make this again and take notes!
