My Favorite Cookbooks at The Moment
I love using cookbooks! I find a lot of inspiration in cookbooks and I use them as a learning tool. These three cookbooks are my favorite cookbooks right now that I reference for everything!
The Complete Plant-Based Cookbook by America’s Test Kitchen (Amazon)
This cookbook is the perfect cookbook to have on hand for a variety of reasons. If you are looking to add more vegetables and grains in your diet, this cookbook has a lot that would benefit you. This cookbook not only has plant-based recipes, but it also includes options on how to make the recipes vegetarian (like adding eggs or cheese at different points). I think this is a great overview of a plant based diet and it does not sacrifice on flavor.
Thug Kitchen: Eat Like You Give A F*ck (Amazon)
This cookbook has a great range of plant-based recipes. This book has great recipes for beginners and more complex recipes. Throughout the cookbook, there are facts about food and tips about cooking that I find helpful. I love the style of the cookbook and the heartiness of the recipes.
The Complete Cooking for Two Cookbook by America’s Test Kitchen (Amazon)
I just love this cookbook! This cookbook has all different kinds of recipes from showcasing meat dishes, to vegetarian mains, and desserts. All of the recipes were meant to serve two people. I think this is a great cookbook to have because you can easily double the recipes if you want leftovers or enjoy one meal with no leftovers. I really love the dessert section because I love to bake (and, of course, I love dessert) and this cookbook has the most perfectly portioned desserts.
