Mango and Strawberry Green Smoothie

        I love green smoothies! If you like smoothies, you will like a green smoothie. The flavor of the fruits masks the taste of the greens. This is a win-win situation because the smoothie will taste great and you will be getting a serving of greens in.

Whenever I make a green smoothie, I always follow the same formula. I use 2 cups of liquid, 2 cups of greens, 3 cups of fruit (some fresh, some frozen), pinch of salt (optional), and other spices (optional). This is the formula for two smoothies. When I make one, I make one for me and my husband. I think this is a great breakfast idea!



Mango and Strawberry Green Smoothie 

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 cups fresh spinach

  • 1 cup fresh mango

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • Pinch salt

Directions:

  1. Add in the liquid to the blender first. Follow that with the greens and the fruit. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
