Crispy Ranch Pickles (Super bowl Snack)
Given that the superbowl was yesterday, we have to talk about the snacks that I made! My husband, Jacob, came across this recipe for crispy ranch pickles (link below) and we just had to make them! Jacob and I both love pickles. I love dill pickles and he prefers bread and butter pickles, but we do enjoy all pickles.
The recipe was easy to put together, but it was a bit time consuming because we had to bread each of the pickle chips. I started by slicing all of my pickles to ¼’’ thickness to create the chips. Then, I breaded them in flour, egg, and panko bread crumbs. We mixed some ranch seasoning in with the panko. We put them on a baking tray and into the oven.
These were delicious! I loved how they were crispy and how well they went with the dip! The dip was made from greek yogurt, ranch seasoning, and fresh parsley. This recipe does make a lot! If I were to make this again for two people, I would cut it in half (unless you are okay with the leftovers!).
Taste: 10/10
Notes for next time: Depending on how much you want, maybe half the recipe.
